The Dutch Snooker Academy (DSA) is a specialised training centre fully dedicated to the sport of snooker. The academy was founded on the belief that serious training is only possible in a calm, professional and well-equipped environment —something that is often lacking at regular playing venues.
In Rijen, the DSA has established its own dedicated location, fully designed for focus, development and performance. This setup allows costs to remain manageable while maintaining a high standard in both facilities and coaching.
Thanks to its central location in the south of the Netherlands, the DSA also attracts international players . In particular, players from Belgium, as well as snooker enthusiasts from regions such as South England, regularly make use of the facilities.
The Dutch Snooker Academy is for anyone who wants to approach snooker seriously — from first steps to elite level.

The Dutch Snooker Academy works closely with the Royal Dutch Billiards Federation (KNBB), the official governing body for, among others, snooker in the Netherlands. Through the KNBB, players gain access to official competitions, rankings and tournaments.
Participation in official competitions outside the Dutch Snooker Academy a KNBB membership is required for these cookies.
The WPBSA is the professional governing body of snooker. DSA instructors hold certifications that align with this international standard, ensuring that training and coaching are based on current methodology and professional quality.
World Snooker Tour is globally recognised for organising and promoting professional snooker events. The certifications held by DSA instructors align with international standards within the professional snooker world, allowing us to bring knowledge and structure from the highest level of the sport to the training floor in Rijen.
