The house rules (regulations) have been established to ensure a calm, safe and professional training environment for all members and visitors.

General house rules

  • The use of alcoholic beverages and drugs is not permitted.
  • Visitors are requested to wear appropriate clothing. Please note that snooker is a sport that often involves bending over.
  • Wearing a belt with a buckle on the front is not permitted due to the risk of damage to the tables. A buckle at the back is allowed.
  • Upon entering, everyone is requested to wash their hands, including after smoking or eating.
  • Calm and consideration for training sessions and other players are maintained in the snooker hall.
  • Security cameras are present on the premises for safety purposes and livestreams during competitions; by entering the premises, you agree to this.

Membership & packages

  • Use of the facilities is only permitted with a valid membership or an agreed service.
  • The following packages are offered: Snooky, Youth, Riley, STAR and Heyball.
  • Membership fees are paid quarterly, semi-annually or annually, depending on the package.
  • Members must handle equipment and facilities with care.
  • Damage or defects must be reported immediately.
  • Damage caused by negligence may be recovered from the responsible party.

Free practice & reservations

  • Free practice is only permitted with a suitable package.
  • Tables must be reserved via TimeTree after a manager has added the member.
  • Free practice is not possible during competitions or events.
  • Weekend practice is only possible by appointment.

Behaviour & responsibility

  • The Dutch Snooker Academy is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.
  • Visitors and members are responsible for their own behaviour.
  • Failure to comply with the house rules may result in (temporary) denial of access to the location.
  • These house rules form an integral part of the regulations of the Dutch Snooker Academy.

Location & facilities

  • The Dutch Snooker Academy is not a hospitality venue.
  • There is no bar. Coffee, tea and soft drinks are available for purchase.
  • Consumption of self-brought beverages is not permitted.
  • Smoking is prohibited throughout the premises.
  • Serious sport is practised at this location; please be considerate of one another.
  • The location is open during previously communicated hours.
  • During school and summer holidays, the location may be (partially) closed. Members will be informed in advance.

Training & lessons

  • Training sessions are included as standard in the packages Snooky and Youth.
  • Adult members (Riley and STAR) generally train independently.
  • Adult participation in group lessons is possible for an additional fee.
  • Training sessions (except Snooky and Youth) are also accessible to non-members.
  • Training sessions take place on fixed days and times.
  • No regular youth training sessions are held during school holidays.
  • During group lessons, free play is permitted provided it does not disrupt the training. Repeated disruption may result in temporary denial of access to the training area.

IntroducEs

  • Bringing a guest is only permitted for adult members.
  • Guests must be 18 years or older.
  • Guest access is always paid.
  • The member is responsible for the behaviour of the guest.
  • The guest must have sufficient experience with the sport of snooker. The member is responsible for assessing this in advance.
  • If the Dutch Snooker Academy determines that a guest does not have sufficient experience, the member will be addressed accordingly.
  • When using a STAR table, the guest must demonstrably be able to play at this level. If this is not the case, both the member and the guest will be removed from the STAR table and may only use a Riley table.
